The moment when you first wake up in the morning is the most wonderful of the twenty-four hours. No matter how weary or dreary you may feel, you possess the certainty that, during the day that lies before you, absolutely anything may happen. And the fact that it practically always doesn't, matters not a jot. The possibility is always there.
Most people do not consider dawn to be an attractive experience - unless they are still up.
Sunrise view from Menkabong River bridge near Tuaran. About 30 minit drive from Kota Kinabalu City. This spot was main attractive place for sunrise shots for most of photographers in Sabah. With Mountain Kinabalu at the right. Most of the shots will include the mountain but i try to take it differently by adding bridge in my composition.

Nice sunrise shot.
I particularly like the suns red rays shinning on to the railings of the road.

one of my fav shots, just before sunrise as shown here with right elements, we can make awesome pict. the glow at the horizon and water reflection are good and interesting ingredient for a good shot. plus the streak of lights on the left add depth and perspective. congrats, tfs

Morning has broken, was that not a song of Cat Steven's? Or was it somebody else. You have captured the whole theater of the sunrise, the first ambassador's of the sun there at the horizon, the fiery ball is coming up. Excellent composition and fine settings. Well done. Thanks for your critique of my hot air balloon sunset. That is the opposite to your shot. Yes the power lines were there and I felt the organizer did not really take care of that danger, because the para-gliders were starting towards them!
