Alor Star traffic Photo

Photographer’s Note

The possibly nicest place for traffic pictures with a perfect backdrop is in Alor Star certainly the well known Zahir mosque with the backdrop on the right of the TM tower.

This main road is always busy and the light is good. The compact car in the foreground is the Perodua Myvi, a so called national car, produced by Toyota group owned Perodua. Since 2006 this 1.0-L or 1.3-L compact car is the best selling car in Malaysia. In other markets the almost same model is batched Toyota Passo and in others Daihatsu Boon. The next generation of the little passenger car is due next year.

A lots of white cars here, full in relaxing feel the city under sunny sky, good contrast of color, thanks for sharing the beautiful city.

It is a very nice shot. I particularly like the road pattern. It is very unusual but yet beautiful and very pleasant to the eye. The picture itself seems to have a general blue cast. What do you think?

Hi Urs,So much to observe in this bright and colourful image. The patterns on the road surface stand out have not seen this on a main road, maybe its besause it passes the mosque.White cars always look good in the sunshine,would not be the same on a grey winters day in london. Thanks Tom.

A nice contrast betewwen the religious edifice and the modern cars. The white color of these cars arise very well in the image under this beautiful blue sky weth nice clouds.

Dear Urs
This time we see the Zahir mosque from a different POV. Good persepctive created by the road here. The domes of the mosque & also the gate looks good under the blue sky! And, as always an informative note to boot!
