Photographer’s Note
Kampong Penimbawan is a fishing village about 20 minutes by boat from the Kampong Serusup's jetty. Kampong Serusup by the way is in the Tuaran district.
Located on the northwestern side of a mangrove sheltered cove called Lake Sulaman, it is the only fishing village near Kota Kinabalu where its inhabitants, mostly Bajau, some of them live in traditional nibung stilted attap thatched houses connected on a network of elevated/stilted boardwalk.
Beside by boat, the other way to this village is by a dirt road from Ambong, Kota Belud.

Salam Rabani,
such a long time we did not exchange any communication.
This shot throw into an unavoidable introspective memories of the childhood days.
The village, the attap houses and the rivers too. How much I missed them now only swimming in the ocean of office work.
This very neat and clean shot is very effective indeed with beautiful distortion and perspective that drives into infinity of the timber bridge.
I like the composition very much that depict the reality of this type of lifestyle - happy , easy, carefree, peaceful and calm.
My regards ever,
Foozi
