December Saturday 28th: 4th Day
In the early morning by a river mouth somewhere near Kg Kuala Suai near Bintulu, on the coastline.

This is the signature shot of the 5 Days December Walk from Tg Bungai in Miri to a section of Tg Similajau near Bintulu. It is a 30s exposure work of a starry night as the primary background, with the casuarina trees as secondary and the two tents as foreground subjects or lead anchor.

Must be a very interesting trip of 5 days walk into the Sarawak jungle, although I have very little idea of your route. I am sure you have plenty of inside-jungle tales to show through photos soon.

This 30s exposure is a great way to show the night's beauty even if there is light provided as seen at the right side. I have seen 2.5hr exposure take of the circular motion of stars in the north although I doubt very much if Borneo will ever yield a circular path of the stars from where we see them.

Lovely view of the trees and stars with the tents giving a graphical color to the otherwise dark night.

I hope you had a pleasant stay in Sarawak.
