Photographer’s Note

This power grid and the cloud formation at the Kedah river in downtown Alor Star were too impressive not to be photographed. At the same time this power grid is a key part of infrastructure of the state. Kedah as evolved from relying on the agriculture sector to have a fast growing industrial sector. It is a central hub of industrialization in Northern Malaysia with no less than 25 industrial parks.

Olá Urs, it makes a nice dramatic image with interesting graphism. The structure on the left reminds me of a giant robot...The sky is a wonderful painting contrasting well with the forest of methalic silhouettes.

Lovely picture, the threads are a good current conductor as perspective and depth.
A pity for us nature, this is absolute bad for the doves, every week during summer find we a lot dead doves, here on 5 km

The composition of this picture is very interesting due to the beautiful clouds and the perspective of the wires, both being as some kind of allegory for energy generation and transfer. Excellent symbolic shot with perfect photographic quality!
