... somewhere I ever wanted to be, at a place with crystal clear water, blue sky, sun and white sand...

Such a place I found in Malaysia. The perhentian islands are really a dream, the view in the clear seawater between these small islands reach down to a depth of at least 20m!!!! I have never seen such a place before and after!

We would have had 4 wonderfull days on this paradise island...when there wouldn't have been the food poison I caught in a beach restaurant with contaminated fish!!! I got diarhoea allmost immediately after eating a piece of fish and high fewer! And in the paradise there will be no doctor, so good luck I had strong antibiotics in my backpack. After one very bad day the spook was gone and the paradise was one for me again...

Hi Daniel,
Awesome picture. The polariser does well to make the sky more interesting! I like the way the land is such a small part of this image. Good composition and choice of the polariser to provide vision into this crystal clear water. Well done.
Regards
Paul

This is a great shot Daniel.
I visited these islands some years ago; they really are beautiful and your shot does the place justice. I like how you've given equal emphasis to both the sea and the sky.
My only (very small) criticism is that the light is a little "cold". I don't know whether this was a result of shooting in the middle of the day or a result of the scanning process, but it does have quite a noticeable cold blue colour cast to it.
It doesn't matter too much though, its still a good shot.
Cheers,
Ben
