Photographer’s Note
Dedication to Jusni who introduced me to this exciting hobby. He really look forward that I own a wide angle shot. This is the first product and I dedicate it to him.
This a common boat that the traditional coastal fishermen use for their daily catch. Not a very bg one about 5 meters long and 2 meters wide. What interest me is the beautiful and attractive colours.
Tr brownish hut at the back is the coconut leaves attap platform for drying fish.
The small island far away at the background is the famous Pulau Perhentian, Terengganu Malaysia. It is wortwhilr to have a few days stay at a place called Pasir Panjang. A lot of tourists from all over the world.

Hi Foozi,
A fitting dedication to Jusni, this is a very nice shot. The perspective on the boat is excellent.
Not too much distortion and your composition is very good.
Maybe you could have dropped the sky a little more but it doesn't spoil the shot the way it is.
Very nice capture, well done and congratulations on your new lens.

hi foozi
Oh yes, Jusni will love this dedication and I can see the smile on his face upon seeing this one. A view that only he has the copyright to shoot in Malaysia :P
So you need to get his permission for shooting this!
I think you have done well with the strong colors to enhance the subject of the boat at FG and catch the viewer's eye attention immediately upon looking even at the thumbnail.
The brown sand and blue sky makes a fine contrast. What I like is the gradient of the sky tones.
A minor point, the level tilt of horizon just less than 1 degree CW.
Superb work.

Salam Foozi,
Wah.... thanks so much for the dedication. The J-hooks is for Jusni, I guess. So, this is by Besut and the color, sharpness and details are brilliant. Fun to look at against the blue sea and blue sky. I guess everything tastes better in Besut too. Have fun working and thanks again.
I like this better than the new TE interface...lol

Jusni

Great wide angle shot of this beautiful boat. The colors are really simple but relaxing because almost everything is blue or white. Very fine and relaxing photo.

Hi Foozi
Reading the critics below I feel I have to add my critic and comment as well, in particular because it was Jusni as well, who asked to join this site. It looks like that Jusni will get some healthy competition in Malaysia hahaha. Enough small talk, back to the reason of writing, your picture above:
Your composition is well done, yes the horizon is a little bit tilted, but I may would added a fill in flash to make the colors of the boat and the sand a tat more vibrant.
However this advise is my personal taste e.g. I would have shot the scene with and without fill-in flash, and with and without Cokin gradual gray filter.
Overall a very good shot, keep it coming
Best regards - Salamat Datang Urs

Hello Foozi
Great pov and everything is in focus. A good compositon - especially with the palm frond lying beside the boat. Tfs, Marlene
