Photographer’s Note
I suppose this tire fell off from one of the fishing fleets that uses them as bumpers for boats, tied off short and thrown over the port or starbord side they prevent boats from slamming into each other or the dock when tied to them. More and more countries are starting programs to recover energy by burning them instead of coal. The most common use now is ground up for asphalt fillers.

Nice 1! Funny how an abandoned tyre can make the photograph more interesting by allowing the eye to rest on somewhere. Love the orangish reflection of light on the beach.

Hi Fadzly,
Nice sharp shot, with great colours and beautiful light effect on the wet sand. The tyre gives an unusual aspect to the whole pic, as a symbol of the human presence in the nature...Wonder about a different POV

Hi Fadzly and Welcome to Trek Earth
Lovely first post taken in such a pretty light. The clouds are so dramatic and the shoreline gives so much depth. I like how you use the tyre as a main subject, it's pretty dynamic.

Hello Fadzly,
Great sharpness and details. I like the golden light and the reflective wet sand. Interesting foreground subject for added depth and leader. I don't know about the purple of the rushing waves ... perhaps it could be made a bit white, blue, or green? But they do reflect the color of the overhanging dark clouds. Great gallery of quality photos you have on flickr. Glad to have you here on TE. Welcome. Regards. Latiff.
