Photographer’s Note

Terengganu is a sunny east coast of Peninsular Malaysia. It is most windy during Oct-Dec. March is quite OK but the waves are pretty strong. The beaches are deep instead of undulating, or sudden slip of depth.
The danger of photography here is over-exposure.But to get a dramatic blue sea-sky effect and beautifully formed clouds is near midday.

Assalamualaikum Foozi. You have converged the shore line and horizon perfectly here. Well captured under good light and shadow and the silhouette of a man creating life in it. Just wondering about the red and white flag being put up at the same time. One degree ccw rotation will take care of the slightly tilted horizon. Well done and best regards. Jusni

Hi Foozi,
Yes one should always be aware of the effect of the sun on sand & rock. Your horizon is tilted but pleasing composition with the diagonal of the shoreline. Nice Nikon colors. I think I'm now able to detect a Nikon image ... at least of images under our sun. Regards. Latiff.

Hello Foozi,
Your note described and explain the context well. I like much this image nicely tallied and perfectly carried out. The coconut gives a good note of exoticism and the character is an element of life and scale interesting and useful.
