Hi Ally,
Nice, honest and realistic photo, without deliberate attempt to avoid what are normally considered as ugly, such as the poles, wires, dirty kerb, etc.
I think this series of your posting show the other more mundane side of malaysian life. I like your observations.
Well done.
Regards
alfred

Hi Ally,
Good morning :)
Good image of the place.
The road, the shop, trees, the woman, the car and the borders too in frame makes a good document.
Have a nice day.

Hi Ally
I know that you try to tell us about the china-man style of motor repair shop at corners of road junctions, it can be seen all over smaller towns, even big cities, of Malaysia.
Very often, the owners are one-man show and they carry out repairs themselves, with 1 or 2 assistants, maybe. But simply just small business. The hut is usually found to last many2 years, in the same condition and run-down state.
In some cases, the owners are buddhists and so they put up the workship red box to give them protection and blessing.
I find that you are trying your best to depict the scene here from a street shot, and under the good light condition, it shows clarity and sharp details. In particular you compose well even though you are unable to avoid the poles and wires. Such is the reality of urban living.
Great capture, Ally. Well done. TFS
cheers, bill
You used the B&W divider as FG, that is good.
If I find any flaw, it is only the pole splitting the red box.
