Photographer’s Note
Japanese Restaurant called Kogetsu by the lake in Subang. Kogetsu is a Japanese word meaning "overlooking the lake". Kogetsu recreates the setting for classic Japanese countryside dining, with a show kitchen in the main area, separate sushi and teppanyaki counters for alternative seating options and three tatami rooms for privacy. Traditional Japanese countryside fare is the highlight for lunch and dinner. There is also quite a large number of Japanese expatriates residing in the neighborhood. Their children attend Japanese school nearby.
Currently, 1,400 Japanese companies are operating in Malaysia. Japan was No. 1 in Malaysia’s list of importing nations and No. 3 in terms of exporting. In 2006 and 2007, Japan emerged as the top investor in Malaysia.
Hand held at ISO 2500.

hi Latiff
So, having dinner with camera standing by at the Subang?
The building looks a taste of Japanese with the windows style but the palm and trees give away the tropical look.
The sky looks not very helpful to your shot as I see the slight underexposure of the buildings. For 1/25s handheld at iso2500, the IS of the lens helps to give nice sharpness. And I can see that you are trying to frame the reflection as well in composition.

Hi Latiff,
Photo with pleasant and peaceful mood. The reflection very nice, the composition spectacular. The friendly light of the windows adds a lot to the mood. Tfs! Have a nice Sunday!

Hello latiff,
A good result from your 5D with ISO2500. It is amazing that noise is hardly noticeable at this size. At 7.30pm you still have reasonable bright sky while it is already dark in EM. The soft rippled reflection with that golden glow of the lighting make it looks like somewhere in Japan, if not for the landscape. A good post.

Latiff, Hi:
Wonderfully interesting architecture and the time of day makes it even more interesting and well done. Thanks for the educational notes, as well.
