Photographer's Note
Aircrafts spotting is a kind of hobby happening in almost around the world. Most will treat this as a hobby and some are making it a career by selling their photos.
Over in Malaysia, we do have a smaller group that share the same interest. There are 2 forums specifically dedicated to aviation buff in Malaysia and around the world.
They are AeroMalaysia and MalaysianWings.
In KLIA, actually there is an observation hill for spotters. Unfortunately, it was closed and declared out of bounds for spotters since 9/11. Luckily, there are other areas to spot and the security officers usually will not leave spotters alone.
This photo was taken near runway 32L. I saw this eagle (I think) hovering in mid air while this Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777 descending. In the end, this eagle managed to avoid the giant fan of the engine.
This photo was cropped and adjusted brightness and contrast. Applied sharpening.
All critiques and comments are welcome.
Thanks.

Hi,
I have seen thousands of aircraft photo's but you've managed to capture what must have been a scaring moment for the bird. Luckily he escaped.

I'm glad the bird was OK - a bird strike can be a very dangerous thing for a jet, even one as big as this 777! Nice shot, well spotted!
