Photographer's Note
A residential quater at Ampang, it is a prosperous town that just located at the border of capital city Kuala Lumpur.
Haze is different than fog or mist, although haze creating similar artistic effect like mist in some photos. Haze is polluten air that able to lead bronchitis, cough, and Sore throat. I always say "Before the global warming killing me, the haze will killed me first."
Since around the year 1995, every year from June to September, there is a nightmare to residents at South East Asia, especially Peninsular Malaysia, Singapore and South Thailand. The smoke of crop residues burning as a traditional agricultural land cleaning method from neighbour country is reach to my living city follow by the Southwest Monsoon start from June and end at September.
Just a day after the Equinox, the sky is looking clearer than the days before, the sun and sunlight is visible on today and yesterday early morning. I hope the haze will dissappeared soon. Link >>> Read Related News

Haze often occurs when dust and smoke particles accumulate in relatively dry air. When weather conditions block the dispersal of smoke and other pollutants they concentrate and form a usually low-hanging shroud that impairs visibility and may become a respiratory health threat. Industrial pollution can result in dense haze, which is known as smog.
Since 1991, haze has been a particularly acute problem in Southeast Asia, Indonesian forest fires burnt to clear land being the reason. In response the 1997 Southeast Asian haze, the ASEAN countries agreed on a Regional Haze Action Plan (1997) and later signed the Agreement on Transboundary Haze Pollution (2002) however the pollution is still a problem today.

Hello Ally,
the haze in the WS are very dense and is very difficult to see the part of the city but the view of this section of the city is more intersting because of the less haze.
I like the endless view of the houses as lead-in the eye on the far end of the image.
Regards,Danos

Hi Ally,
The distance between the buildings and the hills is giving depth to the composition. The point of view is showing the details and colors of the architecture of the buildings. The nhaze has a special effect on the colors. Have a nice day.

Hi Ally,
an excellently composed impression of your home town accompanied by very interesting notes. The light and the hazy colors create a fascinating mood. Your high POV works very well. I am crossing my fingers for a fast fading of the smog!
Warm regards

Hi Ally
An exellent vantage point displaying the compact high-density town, a very well taken with descriptive foreground interests and the highrise buikdings in the mid foreground with lovely backdrop. The haze condition particularly in further distance renders the tremendous effect while the foliage breaks the color monotony to add some vitality to this breath taking view. Excellent clarity superbly exposed with immense depth, feel of vast space and scale, but the haze turns this something special and makes this picture works. This is wonderful shot given the conditions and fine effort with good infor notes. Congrats, TFS
We too having same situation in Singpore now.
Kind regards
