Selling bread near the Indian quarter of Georgetown, Panang, probably one of Malaysia's most enchanting city/islands.

Yes, I agree so far (about most enchanting) but not really seen enough yet to make that kind of assessment. This is a good daily life candid shot, well framed, good expression. Tells us a lot about the nture of Georgetown.

Quite interesting! Since I have never been to Malaysia, i had no idea they had little bread stands like this. I like the neat little rows of bread followed by the neat rows of umbrellas and canopies. Both rows lead to the man.The man too seems like an interesting character. Well document scene!

Very interesting photo, everyday life is so intersting and we always can make good photos. Is it a little bit too sharp ??

I used to work in this island a long time ago. Seeing this man, whom we generally called "Uncle Roti" reminded me of walking along those streets;noisy, lively and sometimes spicy.

Hi caleb ,
the interest of this simple picture is that we are on the action next to you ready to buy some bread.
Great Face !

Like Rgatward, the little i saw of Georgetown was not very colorful, but I did not spend enough time there maybe.
Did it rain, it seems like it. It's interesting to see his face and movements, like doing something for the zillionth time, not very exciting, like the content inside his stall.
For those of us who have travelled around these regions, the pix brings back flavours and details of daily life.

This has a blue color cast, & the highlights are overexposed. If you look at the midtone shadows in the mans white shirt, they should be grey, not violet. Just a minor nitpick. But it's still a superb daily life shot from this Georgetown bakery. Well done.

Very nice. I like the blue cast as it makes the picture more whole. I would even crop it tighter at the bottom (IMHO).
