Hello friends in TE.
Teluk Tempoyak was affected by the 2004 Boxing Day tsunami. The plankway pier which was already in a broken state was further devastated. It has since been repaired, and is now looking even better than before the waves hit.
Teluk Tempoyak's biggest call to fame today is ikan bakar, or grilled fish. This can be enjoyed in a number of seaside Malay restaurants with the catch that comes in every evening, and is gaining fame among local tourists.

The b&w image in your gallery is something unique and original but I like it very much! The scene was composed quite well with an interesting foreground and good sense of perspective. Thanks for sharing!

this photo is very dreamy and timeless. The composition with the stones in the foreground was a good idea.
I like the overexposure in this case a lot. The photo is a real eyecatcher.

Punchy lights contrasts yet still with good shadow and highlight details. Good sharpness and excellent framing although I might have cropped a little from the bottom almost up to the oval shaped rock in the middle. The long pier adds good diminishing linear perspective. Tfs!

Tu est vraiment dans le high key ces derniers jours. J'aime beaucoup la texture de cette image, très stylisée et lumineuse.

nice the view of this artistic presentation with the Teluk Tempoyak to dominates the left side of the photo.I like the creative perspective from the wooden jetty with the rocks on the foregroud to complete perfect the whole scenery.

I like this picture very much, it is composed skillfully and effectively and the great monochrome treatment exalts its elegance and minimalism. You've created a superb impression of depth in the narrow square frame; the rocky shore, the pier and the boat have great connection and every line or detail seems essential. Wonderful work, congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a lovely month,
