Photographer’s Note
This is the panorama view from the top of the pagoda at Kek Lok Si ( Temple of Supreme Bliss) temple in Georgetown, it is the largest buddhist temple in south east asia.
The construction began in 1890 and finished in 1930 when the seven story pagoda was completed. This pagoda combines a Chinese octagonal base with a middle tier of Thai design, and a Burmese crown; reflecting the temple's embrace of both Mahayana and Theravada Buddhism.
The temple is a focal point of festivals of the Chinese community in Penang

Good morning Federico
I was surprised as i panned down the photo, to see even more subjects with the skyscrapers in the background. I was expecting to only see the temple.
Nice surprise.
Very well composed cityscape, a little bit of everything, a temple, gardens, skyscrapers and appartments.
Well done

Una bella paanoramica su questa città dai contrasti tra antico e moderno. Mi piace la luce calda e i colori morbidi, e naturalmente la pagoda col suo giardino è un soggetto molto fotogenico. Un bel documento per TE.
Ciao,
Donato
