[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a night shot that i took at Kek Lok Si Temple, Penang last night. Kek Lok Si is one of the most famous tourist spot in Penang, and there are lots of great temples and great architectures here.

And during Chinese New Year, all these buildings will be decorated with lights and the lights will be turned on everynight until the end of Chinese New Year celebration, which is on the 15th day of our lunar calendar.

I am still experimenting how to use my new camera, and i place myself somewhere high, then set to manual mode and set to the smallest aperture and playing with the shutter speed. i think this is the best i can get.. hmmm...although i think my composition is kinda poor.. :(

Ok, original image, slightly cropped, resized and added border using Photoshop.

lovely, could be a postcard. maybe u could adjust the contrast in ps a little bit. i like the night shot here, u controlled everything well, and i think the composition's alright too....good job, Thong!

POV is not bad , composition is alright too. Maybe you can try different metering or effect, example use Vivid ( in Canon camera) to give sharper image.

Hi WH! I hope to go here one of these days! You captured a great night scene here! Did you use a tripod? I'm finding it hard to take night scenes; so considering you're still learning the tricks of your camera, this is a good photo! I think your POV here is wonderful as well! rgds.
