Evolving Sunset of Desire Photo

Photographer’s Note

Hello friends in TE.

This picture was registered close to Kuala Sungai Baru fishing village. A lone fisherman in a small boat is seen heading towards the sea during this low tide evening. The distant hills along the horizon are the archipelago of Langkawi.

The Kuala Perlis-Sungai Baru route offers some of the best countryside views. At certain stretches, we saw the road flanked by the sea on one side and patches of padi fields and irrigation canals on the other. The beaches are flat and the shores lined with boulders to prevent wave erosion. The dull, grey sea is nothing to look at; it gets bluer only when one heads towards Langkawi.

superb sunset shot. You had a clever decision to include the reflection in the first third. I also find the small boat at the left a nice focal point. Lighting is really well managed...tones are pleasant. Great job!

The lights and spectrum of colors golden to blue are stunning in your photo. I like amazing golden tones, cloudy sky and still available blues on sky a lot. Adding a fisherman to the scene helps to scale your view correctly. Congratulations. Have a nice new week.

I really like this picture! The sky looks wonderful with its beautiful colors and light! I also like the mountains in the very background, some details, such as the silhouette of the boat on the left side of the image, the texture of the water surface and finally the reflection on the wet sand!

marvelous view! An ambient to dive in. So vast, so vivid and diverse, so full of life but at the same time so fragile and calm. Cloud formation is superb as it provides wonderful mixture with water patterns. It makes all the difference and enables this photo to be so vibrant. Beautifully spotted and presented.

A lovely sunset scene. Like the reflection of the sun screening through the clouds on the wet sand. The boat & the small island in silhouette are a bit too tiny, but their presence definitely adds to the scene. Lovely hills in the BG. Good work!

Sometimes sunset in this color also available in city, but I admire it in different mood and situation, while I hem in traffic jam during rush hours just most of office clouse after 5 or 6pm and every one on their way to home.
Very relaxing sunset above the sea, nice reflection and colouring every where in golden sunlight, distinct color, good shoot.

The most I like is the real colours, the clarity and the sharpness. The time was ideal for making a photo. One more very good thing, is the depth in the shot! The sunlight gone in the clouds was the key for an efficient light management. The experienced photographer knows it very well!
