Hello friends in TE,
In 1876, Sir Henry Wickham collected some 70 000 seeds from Brazil, which he germinated and shipped to the East Indies, where they began today's great rubber plantations. Today Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand are the major producers of natural rubber, producing around 90% of the world's natural rubber.
New plantations have been established in Malaysia to make up for insufficient replanting due to surge in demand of world's natural rubber.

This road runs through young rubber plantation which looks like a vast empty land. The landscape will change dramatically in six to eight years where you'll be driving through mature rubber trees which looks like a very systematic forest.

Have a wonderful weekend.
Jusni

Hello Jusni,

The long white lines on the road together with the electric threads care for a very nice depth and perspective.
A few white sheep clouds care for contrast against the strong blue sky, very well done.
Thanks for sharing.

Have a nice weekend,
John.

Hi Jusni,
Now whose slogan is that? IOI, KLK, Guthrie Ropel? Don't see a lot of that advertising along our highways anymore. Perhaps those big plantation companies are converting their agricultural lands into residential & industrial properties ... with very little greening in them. Only one comment ... the road is a bit too blue otherwise the POV is good & well reflecting the plains of Kedah & Perlis. It would be great to see the rubber trees in seven years from now. I was hoping to see the autumnal colors of rubber trees when I was around Kulim recently. Salam. latiff.

Abang,
I loved this sort of shot!
good angle in capturing this with the road lines and power poles toward the far horizon to crete a great depth in it!
beautiful colouration and details too
well done and TFS
have a wonderful weekend in Kedah!
Tony

Hello, Jusni,
great perspective in this shot with the roadway leading in. Excellent colors and I like the way you have given so much space to that lovely sky. Really great note, too!! Thanks and have a fine weekend!
Shelly

Hi Jusni,
I like very much the inclusion of such a big part of the sky, especially because of its beautiful blue tones here. The road runs nicely through the landscape. Well captured!

Lars

Hi Jusni,
I really like the detail and color here. The clouds are lovely as well. As to the framing, I think it might have been more effective to focus on one of the fields rather than centering the road btween them. I do think the road is important but that it might work better off to one side.
