I was driving home from Thai Border as we passed by the large green field with backdrops of limestone hills. The thick cloud filled the sky with the sun shone from the left signaling that rain might fall soon. Those distance limestone hills I thought, look wonderful against the vastness of empty green field.

Very well captured scenic view, with green field FG contrast against the hills and sky. Good composition. Though not much details can be seen of limestone, the hills appearance in faded tone stand out quite well here. The sky influence on the scene is evident. Well done. TFS

I wish you a Happy New Year!

Hi Jusni,
A lovely landscape and the dramatic clouds with the hint of colour make for a great background.
Regards
Wanda

Hello Jusni,
This is a great landscape with interesting features!
The limestones characteristic for SE Asia is well captured, as they add unusual shapes to the scenery...
Personally I might consider cropping some in the sky as you're pretty close to wash-out upper left!
Greetings,
Pablo -

Hello Jusni,
I like very much the view and the mood obtained here...you were so right to make a stop here, lovely composition giving emphasis to the hills and the vast sky...superb light and clouds. The technical aspects are a bit on the weak side, a little noise remaining:-) and to my taste too much overexposed in the top left corner. One can feel your love for nature very well...

Have a nice day
TFS

Hi Jusni,

A very dramatic shot with minimal landscape in the composition, but the impact to the overall composition is very significant. The rolling mountains and colourful sky in the BG is particularly interesting

TFS, Jusni

I got this feeling Jusni, you are the kind of person who loved wide open spaces with the head for the sky. And probably, a kite or two somewhere just waiting for the wind, to come and play.

But for now, the bad brooding boy of the weather kind is hiding the bright sunny day away.

Hi Jusni

I like the low horizon as it gives more weight to the sky. Nice saturated colour in the field and the hills.
Phil

I am glad you stepped out of the car and stopped for this moment. surely it is a glorious image because it is not always possible to witness a sky perfect as this

Hi Jusni,

Interesting shot with the mountains profiles giving a sense of deepness. Unfortunately the grass is underexposed and there is no center of attention, the eye feels lost in the picture.

Jusni,

Great capture of a gorgeous sky. I wish that we had weather like this in Fresno, you must have some beautiful storms there with great lightning. I agree that the hills do make a great backdrop for the green fields. Are they blue because of distance, color, or shadow? I also like the thin bit of orange just above the horizon, as it adds just a little bit of warmth to the cool colors.

Brian

Pretty landscape Jusni. I like specialy those big clouds an the top of the picture. Perhaps a more contrasted pallette could be better but just my two cents.
