My Village - The Quiet Road Photo

Photographer’s Note

My village in the middle of vast padi fields. The tall grasses along the road. The once laterite road, now an asphalt one. Far ahead development is coming. Houses are built on claimed land of padi fields.
Housing estate, govenrment offices and quarters are slowly coming into view.
Hopefully again, the natural beauty will be preserved and kept.

Nice positioning of the road leading the eye to the centre of the picture where the town is located. The colours are really very good and the clarity/sharpness is fantastic. The sky is another beautiful thing in this shot. Well done.

Hi Foozi,

You have captured some beautiful, natural colours and a wonderful light. Superb composition with the road leading into the picture. The branches on the left provide some contrast.
It's funny, if I hadn't seen the location, I might have thought that this was somewhere around Bavaria.

Hello Foozi,
Excellent capture, your POV and composition are first class. Using the road to open up the shot works perfectly and the way you have positioned the tree on the left of frame adds so much to the image.
Wonderful colours, the golden grasses on the road side look brilliant, and what about that sky, sensational.
Very good work, one of your best.

Foozi,
This is a very beautifully composed image, love how you use the small road to invite the viewers in and take a long walk into this beautiful rural area of farm and natural environment which you do very well as seen in TN. My slight advice for you is, "I think" you have the tendensy to push the saturation to the edge, some of them you actually went over board, in my humble opinion. this one is on the edge for me. when you have such beautiful shot you don't need to do it and I'm sure it will look as good if not better and more natural. Regardless, it's abeuatiful image and good technical work, just different pp from how I would do it. Congrats and thanks

the best colour saturation here in depth, and it's nice to include the road with a curve!

Hello Foozi,

An interesting landscape, where I notice the lack of hills and mountains in the vast plains!
Looks like made for farming, and rice is the most common produce as I understand...
Well framed with a good feeling of depth, fine colour reproduction!

THe perspective of the road leads us diagonally into the scene. The side lighting is good and is providing some good contrast especially on the tree branches. Very good composition with the horizon placed on the bottom third.
