Hi friends in TE,

The Lumut Waterfront

is a recently new build park on the north side of the little town of Lumut, next to the Lumut International Yacht Club. It overlooks the northern hills and Kampong Atjeh and Lumutport.com.

Although you wouldn't guess it, the views from here are really nice. Sometimes big ships sail in, it can be a tanker or cargo ship but also big passenger vessels.

The Lumut Waterfront has been set up as a recreation park. It is a popular spot for many locals in the whole are, not just Lumut to hang out here on a Sunday afternoon. During weekdays you find here people who come early from work or school children.

Good to see your post again after a quiet period. I cannot remember when you have this 24mm, is it is new lens? But it looks like oldies with Ai-S designation?

If there are no mosquitoes [which is unlikely], this place would be great to hang a hammock and spend evening, or maybe in a tent.

I think it looks a bit like Kuching waterfront except it is fronting the sea. Is it far from naval base? Very attractive from this POV you have chosen and the lighted scene is surely going to lure people to stay long into the night to enjoy the cool breeze. I wonder what daylight version will be, especially sunrise version :)

This night shot is nice, full of atmosphere. The pier in the background adds DOF to the picture. I really like it.

Nice shot this one Jusni. I like the lights and the multiple hues that brighten up the scenario. the darkness and the lights have been well handled and nicely composed

Hello Jusni,

This is a moody nighttime capture!
The array of vivid colours make the different elements stand out well, in particular I notice the wet sand reflecting the blue so effectively...
Well framed with good sharpness in details!

Hi Jusni,

Very nicely done night scene, Soft lighting from the street lights and buildings, Wonderful clarity and details in the night time you captured. Beautiful reflection on the water, I see little glare in this shot and assumed you took this shot through a window. Great job Jusni.
