Hello Ally,
Yes, this is jungle to me, an abundance of lush green vegetation of many kinds!
Interesting to see this how plants are using others in order to survive, a well known technique among humans...
A good documentary photograph, fine details showing the subject very well!

Olį Ally, excellent vertical perspective and good use of the two trunks for a nice 'V' framing, the closer one showing a wonderful example of symbiosis. I like the green arrangement in FG and the WS is an interesting detail as well.

Hi Ally,
I've never tried this kind of photo...it looks a difficult situation regarding the lighting conditions. You did a great job in here. Exposure was well managed and the details are all there. Great nature photography!

Hello Ally,
The exposure certainly is optimum in this difficult but green and lovely scene. Most fascinating to see the twines and tendrils attacking the huge tree. The greens are very soothing. Well done and my compliments...Danilo

Both here and in the WS we can see some very different plants from the ones we are used to seeing every day. I like how you have composed and framed this one showing just a small area and detail of the forest. Good work

Hi Ally,
The point of view is showing the details and colors of the twining plants wind up on the trunk of the tree. The ferns are framing well the tree. The light is enhancing the colors and is giving them a good contrast. Have a nice day.

Nice close up on the trunk with the plant attached to it, and some depth with the path behind, making a aperture ofr the sight.
All the best,

Hi Ally,
I am very impressed by your shot. It is beautiful.
No matter how many times I tried to photograph the tropical forest the pictures wouldn't come out well: either because of lack of light and dim coloration or because of too much stuff in the composition (compo-overload).
Thank you for sharing this one, good example for me on how people manage the forests.
By the way, how come your nick is "shevchenko", if it's not a secret? :) I am ukrainian, and it hit to me to see a ukrainian last name as a nick of somebody from another side of the world:))
cheers,
Olga

Hi Ally,
this one is really twisting and twining around the palm tree. With mosses clearly seen this capture is natural. I like the two ferns leaves that balance the shot.

Foozi
