[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Cameron Highlands is one of the most important tea plantation regions of Malaysia. Situated about 2-3 hours by car north of Kuala Lumpur (KL) the region is easily accessible. There seem to be busses from KL to this region as well for those who don't have a (rental) car.

Tea plantation has been going on for quite some years. Before there were many smaller farmers but now even here larger scale operating comes in place. I have been told there is a conciderable difference in taste between the highest (1500m) and lowest (200m) fields. The higher the fields the better the taste seems to get.

I found this part of the field interesting due to slope it is on and the uneven terrain which is well visible. And although the walking paths are well visible as lines, no way they are straight. Unfortunately not many people working in the fields when I was there.

Sorry, no exif data available as I had to reduce the photo a lot to get it within TE limits.

Hi Harko, very nice photo, I like the composition using the diagonal. Good POV. I think the green is a little over saturated.
Good job.

This is my cup of tea!
Monochromatic, textured, repeated pattern...

Nice, realy nice this picture. All the rows of tea trees gives a very graphic feeling...may be I would prefer to see someone in a third of the picture working by...but we can't choice all the things that we want to take in a picture.

Best regards,

javier

Hi Harko,
I like the simplicity of the shot with great diagonal lines and the refreshing green colour of the tea. Nicely textured too.

Hi Harko,
Very good diagonal orientation of the lines as it made the shot more dynamic. Simple composition but very effective. Nice texture and contrast. Well captured and composed. Well done! tfs

Hello Harko!
I loved this area, but when I was there I had no good light to photograph the teaplantations.
Good shot and nice graphism with these diagonals.Good bright green tones too.
