Tea is one of the most widely-consumed beverages in the world.
Camellia sinensis is an evergreen plant that grows mainly in tropical and sub-tropical climates. However, it is commercially cultivated from the equator to as far north as Cornwall on the UK mainland.

In addition to a tropical climate, it requires at least 50 inches of rainfall a year, and prefers acidic soils. Many high quality tea plants grow at elevations up to 1500 meters (5,000 ft), as the plants grow more slowly and acquire a better flavor.

Only the top 1-2 inches of the mature plant are picked. These buds and leaves are called flushes, and a plant will grow a new flush every seven to ten days during the growing season.

Tea plants will grow into a tree if left undisturbed, but cultivated plants are pruned to waist height for ease of plucking.

Cette photo est tres graphique avec cet ocean de theiers et les personnes qui donnent l echelle ainsi qu un contre point colore.
La note est tres interessante pour l amateur de the que je suis.

Les gens au premier-plan apportent même si l'homme en survetement gâche un peu...

i think it would be better without the two people at the bottom.

Oh,I loved this place and had some wonderful days there around Thana Rata,but no good light for photography.
Excellent composition with the few people in the foreground and this amont of wonderful green in the background.The format works very well here.

Bonjour Alain, encore une perle, merci pour l'exotisme et le fait de me permettre de voyager sans quitter ma chaise :)
Ce POV avec la disposition géographique "en remontant" permet d'avoir un sacré graphisme tout en vert, j'aurai adoré n'y voir que ces 3 femmes voilées.

On a l'habitude de voir des photos de collines entieres recouvertes de pieds de the.
Une version croppee est interessante et la note est tres informative.
