Photographer’s Note
This photo was taken from Corus Paradise Resort at Port Dickson, Malaysia. Lined up with several resorts, the beach in Port Dickson is not as gorgeous as in other exotic beaches but the view,as far as my eyes are concerned, is great.
I used my good old Sony DSCF505 camera (1999 model)to take this photo. This is my very first contribution to TrekEarth so I am expecting to learn from your critiques.

Hi Tito Robert,
Welcome to TE! Good choice for posting this photo. I like the simplicity and elegance of it. Maybe it will also help if you cut 2-3 inches below and allowed some space for the white clouds to fill in the top portion. That way the composition will be more dynamic and not monotonous. But that's just me. Still overall, I think you've got a good eye for photography. =D
From the shadows of the coconut trees, it seems you've taken this during midday?
Keep posting!

hi roberto
fine job man.a pleasant picture but i think it looks too original and a lower light setting would minimize the brighness of the sunlight,it would be more comfortable to watch......regards.....sisir

Great Photo!
I like your composition with the line of palms framed by water in the foreground and background.
Nice colors a litte bright maybe, reducing the light would enhance the colors.
Thanks,
Asa

Regardless what camera you are using Roberto, it is just a tool. A camera is just like a pen. How better or lesser your pen is compared to others, it is what you write that says the most. Keep on shooting and studying what you have made and pretty soon, you have learn enough, to see things in a better light and way. Always remember, shoot not only what you see, but how it makes you feel. Welcome to TE.
