Photographer’s Note
While driving around in Malysia from Johor Bahru to Kuala Lumpu via Penang I just had visited some carved stones somewhere in the state of Negeri Sembilan and now on my way to Seremban when I passed an area with palm oil plantations near the smal town of Linggi. Some were very dense on dry soil, others completely flooded which surprised me a bit but it looked like it was normal there.
The river (S. Linggi) which is only a few hundred meters further from the last flooded plantation seems to be at a bit higher level then normal.
Jumping from the already wet shoulders to the afloat was the only way to get there for the two men to enjoy a relaxed conversation in the late morning.
I took this photo from a bridge.

Hi Harko
Nice place to have a chat, hope for them it is well affixed because I'd not like to have a bath in that water...
Have a nice day JY

Hello Harko,
The photograph is rather strange, but is very beautiful. One understands better by reading your note. I like framing in diagonal. This water charged with silt is in harmony with the greenery. An image interesting and carried out well. Cheer.
Have a nice day.
Cordially.

Dag Harko,
uitstekende compositie,
Zeker een leuk punt om even bij te kletsen, maar wat moeilijk bereikbaar.

Hi Harko, particular picture also a bit humoristic. I would be afraid to stay there. Indeed they seem so calm..... Good POV, well done. Compliments, Adele

hej Harko.
dom ser rätt avspända de två männen på bryggan trots översvämningarna. undrar vad de talar om ?
-Det var bättre förr.
Hur som en bra bild av det lantliga Malaysia.

Hello Harko, Not sure if you saw the Yarra in Melbourne after rain during your travels to the land Downunder but this water reminded me of our Yarra "the river that flows upside down"
Nice colour, well composed but the light I think creates a wonderful, relaxed mood.
Thanks
Santo
