The cup is hanging around the tree ..use to collect latex(rubber milk)The rubber tapper will use special knife )He will tap (draw sap from the tree by cutting into it)

This is what I would do if I see this scene. Find a cup with latex dripping into it. Use wide aperture (f3.5 or lower) to really throw off the background, making it so blur. And get down a bit so the cup is almost at the same height as the camera.
