Photographer’s Note
One of the hindu festival in Malacca (Melaka) where a lot of participants is chinese. This is one of the many participants that uses hocks or long metal bars to go through their bodies. This is some of the method uses to fulfill their vows to the gods. Some will carry flowers/incense or pots of milk.
