Hello friends in TE.

This was taken inside Melaka Maritime Museum.

The Maritime Museum itself is a replica of the 'Flora de La Mar', a Portuguese ship that sank off the coast of Melaka while on its way to Portugal, carrying loot plundered from Melaka. Work on the replica started in early 1990 and it was opened to the public in 1994. The Maritime Museum was officially opened by the Prime Minister Dato Seri Dr. Mahathir Mohamad on June 13, 1994.

Regards.

Hello Jusni,
you present here a quite beatiful indoor night photography.
Nice light management, and great colour.
The POV might be a little tighten but I suppose that was the best you could do at 18mm

Many Regards
Stelios

Hi Jusni,
It looks like good idea having the architecture of a maritime building inspired on an old vessel. Shooting interiors is always challenging because of the light and POV's, but you sort out things reasonably well. I like the POV using the diagonal, I just don't like so much the crop on the first window, but I don't know if it was possible to avoid it.
I don't know much about Portuguese History, but I think that the ship, which I am pretty sure we call "Flor de la Mar" has some fabled aura.Maybe it is because it was the ship of the ferocious Afonso de Albuquerque, the conqueror of Melaka (Malaca in Portuguese), Goa, Ceylon and Ormuz, that sunk in the way back to Portugal after the Portuguese king took away his power as Vice King.
Regards, José.

Jusni bonjour.
J'aime cette ambiance donnée par la perspective, les couleurs et la lumière. On a l'impression qu'un évènement va se produire mais on ne sait lequel.
Jacques
