[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Chinatown of Melaka (Malacca), the oldest in Malaysia, is located in the middle of the historical city of Melaka. It is divided into two sections by the Melaka River: The "Old Chinatown" and The "New Chinatown". Old section is located on the western bank of the river and was founded about 200 years ago. This part has a lot of places of interests, like Cheng Koon Teng Temple, the largest and oldest Chinese temple in Malaysia. I visited Chinatown just before Chinese New Year celebration and old houses was nicely bedecked.
