Christ Church in Malacca. This church was built in the year 1753 by the Dutch to commemorate their centenary occupation of Malacca and originally it is a Dutch Reform Church. When the British took over in the year 1795, they put in some of their own additions and transform it to an Anglican Church.
This church took 12 years to complete and inside each wooden beam was cut from a single tree.
On the right you can see the buidlings that are part of the Stadhuys - one of the oldest Dutch buildings left in the far east.
