Christ Church in Malacca. This church was built in the year 1753 by the Dutch to commemorate their centenary occupation of Malacca and originally it is a Dutch Reform Church. When the British took over in the year 1795, they put in some of their own additions and transform it to an Anglican Church.
This church took 12 years to complete and inside each wooden beam was cut from a single tree.
On the right you can see the buidlings that are part of the Stadhuys - one of the oldest Dutch buildings left in the far east.

Hi Tan! Very original composition. Good take! Cheers!

Hi Tan,
This is a lovely place and the colours make it exciting. A bit of straightening will be helpful as the wide angle must have distorted it slightly. I would also take a step or two to the right so that the phone tower will be behind the building. It is always difficult in places like this to avoid distractions, we can only try to minimize it. I like the overall lighting and the clarity.
Regards and have a nice day.

Hi Tan

I have visited this place before. You have captured a good view.

Hi Tan,
interesting documantal photo, christian church so far from Europe. Interesting architecture. Pity that sky was pale.
