Photographer’s Note
Stamp Museum is one of the state's oldest museum after independence and was once occupied by Westerhout family for 300 years until 1930. The museum showcases not only stamp collections, but also the history of stamps, envelopes, letterheads, postmen’s uniforms during the early 1950’s, 1970’s and 1990’s, unreleased stamps, erroneous stamps, specific themed stamps and many more that you have yet to see.

Hello Ally,
I am very happy to see this simple but elegant composition featuring the Stamp Museum in Melaca. In 2000 I came to Johor Bahru to give some lectures, and on the way back to Kuala Lumpur, spent a night in Maleca. The people were friendly and attractive, and the country lush and beautiful.
Warm regards,
Bulent

hi Ally
I did not really pay much attention to this building before but this looks like a new paint and a good place for a browse after the UN status. Good composed view. I suppose we would be able to have tea on March 2 late afternoon when we are finished with Lowyatt Plaza. Will contact you again.

Hello Ally ,
An interesting building . Very well framed , with natural colors . But what attracts me in this picture , is the architecture : we can get the feeling to be in a spanish town . Even the street in the fore ground looks spanish . May be there are many buildings of that kind in Malaysia ? Chinese style ?
Thanks for the share

Olá Ally, I think I recognize this museum but I don't think I entered in. The photo is excellent in every aspects and my favorite detail are those big wooden windows. Very nice trio in WS. In my hometown there's still a cylinder similar to the one on the left, the best mailbox ever invented ;-)

Hi Ally,
The point of view is showing with precision the details and colors of the architecture of the museum. The cement walls are framing well the building. The diagonal line of the street is an asset to the composition. The colors are enhanced by the good luminosity. Have a nice day.

Bonsoir,

Excellent shot of the museum. The tight crop works well and the patterned ground adds some extra detail. Interesting mail boxes in the WS. They look like they are left over from British colonial days.

Hello Ally,
This photo display its excellent quality, very sharp with good exposure and natural colours. The workshop photos are equally good. A nice little building and a cute entrance porch which looks a little tilted. Is it due to settlement in its foundation, poor workmanship or just my eyesight problem?
Hope to see you in KL as Bill has mentioned.

Alfred
