I don't think you have used enough "ouches" in the title of this post.
Well captured. The lighting isn't that great, but you have made good use of what you had to work with. It would probably be very hard to get this gentleman to move to another area for better light.

I have been to the Thaipussam festival in Penang/ Malaysia some years ago and was fascinated by the activities of the Hindu devoties.
This is a good closeup shot of OUTCH........
