[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
An unusual sight in Malacca, on the south west coast of peninsular Malaysia. This was once how the rich got around in that city. It had been raining a few minutes before this was taken & was still heavily overcast. There is still water in the puddles & mud on the ground. Consequently, contrast is low, & lighting & color saturation also weak. I tried a 1/4 strength 'fill in' flash. If you look closely at the ground, you can see it reflected off the water. Very interesting and real unusual picture subject. Good info and links. Well done Chris.

I agree with Radu, but this one seems to have a few problems. The contrast seems very low, and the colours a bit washed out, though I suppose the light wasn't that great on the day.

I like it,it's from 1995,very intersting,A special atmosphere with some old & traditional elements,nicely captured with a fine composition.
A football ground in background-right is interesting.
