Malaysia being a multicultural country, you can see different worship places around the country. This photo was taken in Thean Hou Temple in Kuala Lumpur. A Chinese temple in a hilltop near Seputeh area. It is located on a 1.67 acres of land atop Robson Heights overlooking Federal Highway. It was completed in 1987 and officially opened in 1989. This temple, built by the Hainanese community is dedicated to Goddess Tian Hou (The Heavenly Mother).
This is one of the tourist attractions as busload of visitors coming here every half an hour. I was taking my auntie here and I took the opportunity to snap photos.
I found this rooftop shot on the top floor. It is colourful and decorated well.
I did fillplash, resize, adjust saturation, cropping and sharpening in the photo.
At first I thought of doing a major cropping of up to the red line below the blue support to give it a wide perspective, but later decided to keep the actual view.

Welcome back. A very artistic shot angle and colourful indeed. Your cropping work is good and the minor adjustment is good your shot.

Selamat Pagi Chai,
I missed that one while in Malaysia but I can easily understand why the busloads of tourists, it looks like a very attractive place, and I like your photo of these details, it has a nice subject , perspective, brilliant colors and is well framed. A minor point is that the first dragon is slightly off focus.
Have a nice day,

Very nice contrasting colours but with good harmony. You have taken the right amount of red to make it interesting. Nice use of the perspective and repetition too. Well done! Thanks and regards.

Very vibrant, the colours really draw you in, but without making it too gaudy. I guess the Heavenly Mother is a vibrant person too. : )
I think you were right in with decision not crop to the red line.

Nice colors and perspective. I would prefer the aperture to be smaller in order to inprove the DOF. Still a nice shot. TFS.

What an array of colours!!!...
Your Idea of arraying it in a diagonal really works..Only that I would have used a smaller apperture to shoot of the shallow DOF at teh extremes to make it without any OOF Objects...
