Hi Lisa,

Love the title, having a pray. having a good old pray, I say it with an Irish accent in my head.

This is a beautiful shot of this fine temple, the floor is so reflective, I'd hate to see their polish bills. There is a beautiful range of colours, and I love that you included the ledge at the top of the shot which gives that added extra depth. Yuo done a great job with the lighting too, which looks like it was really difficult, but came out ideal in the capture.

Really nice, thanks for sharing this beautiful place.

Hello Lisa,
Such a beautiful place, so unusual to our eyes which are used to see churches. The fine central POV allows a pleasantly symmetrical view of this impressive building. The polished floor is a perfect mirror reflecting the light sources and giving an extra dimension to the place. Amazing colours and depth. Well done.

non finirò mai di complimentarmi con te.
Hai un'attrezzatura di tutto rispetto, ma senza la sua bravura non otterresti questi risultati, sia in interni che in esterni. Sei padrona della tecnica e bravissima nella composizione. Anche in questa scattata in interno i colori sono superbi, la nitidezza eccellente, la composizione perfetta e grazie a te si riesce ad apprezzare appieno la bellezza di questo tempio.
E' un vero piacere ammirare lefotografie che condividi con questa platea di utenti.

Hi Lisa,
Such a shiny and clean temple kind of reminds me of a five star hotel lobby, although I haven't visited many of them...
That star feature looks really good. Details are more visible than on 'Havin A Pray', so I think this version is better. Reflection of that lantern catches attention too.

Hello Lisa,
beautiful interior.There is so many details we can admire in excellent quality and of course these delightful,vivid colors.Even if in most interior shots the light is quite poor we do not notice it in this case.You did really great job.
This Temple reminds me some temples in Hong Kong I visited(I was always amazed by the colors and the atmosphere inside.It was a great experience for me)

What a lovely quaint title - "Having a Pray" - I love it!

A beautifully composed picture with perfect symmetry with gorgeous saturated colours and delightful light. Again, the low light capabilities of your camera and your skill at holding a camera steady for 1/20 second have really paid off to produce a very fine image with exceptional detail and sharpness.

At least not until i get to see John's hot 'nun' photo lol

as for this one, not sure about you...but i hate taking these shots! I'm going to be displaying my OCD here again...but it bugs the hell out of me!!

when taking architecture shots, I'm always on the lookout for these varying horizontal lines near the top of the frame. Quite often is the case when you try to correctly make them all perpendicular - as you have so smartly done here - then for some reason the BOTTOM portion is out of alingment! what gives with that?!

Where's Bulent to explain the physics when you need him!! lol

then, when you try to correctly balance out the bottom portion, then the top horizontal lines are no longer perpendicular. Its like a scene in Seinfeld when you have entered the Bizarro world and everything is backwards! :)

sigh....sometimes architecture frustrates me!!
do you share my pain? probably not lol

thats all i gotta say, time for an anti-anxiety pill :)

Hi Lisa - This temple looks so amazing with the highly polished marble floor; the colourful pillars and statuary seem to float on clear mirror-like water. I love the distinctive decoration and your composition which includes the lovely frieze and ceiling details. Pray? Hmmm... you know what I'd really like to do? Tie cloth over my feet and skate on that floor ;)

It's a wonderful temple isn't it? And right in the heart of bustling Chinatown, shows the multicultural mix of Malaysia so well. I should post a pic from a recent visit to Hindu temple in Little India Singapore, which is colourful as well. My fave part of Kl was Brickfields, an Indian neighbourhood (oh my great curries).
I like the shining, colourful finish of this shot.

Where the designer has imbued the work with symmetry it behooves us to accentuate and celebrate that symmetry. I like the vantage point you've chosen, and the flawless exposure you've achieved. Beautiful symmetry here, Lisa. The designs on the floor, the actual objects, and the reflection of light all meld together into one object here, and it's quite lovely. Is that your same shirtless priest there as from the other day?

A shame that this beautiful space winds up with fluorescent lighting - it doesn't hurt the photo, but I imagine it lessens the mood in the room at times.

I like the juxtaposing of the fg star against the bg circles & also the horizontal lines at right angles to the vertical lines. An amusing title. Good sharpness & nice reflections. Excellent colour & saturation. Well framed & composed using the rule of thirds. Tfs!

bella veduta dell'ingterno di questo bel tempio moderno con il pavimento tirato a lucido e con i suoi riflessi, l'inquadratura è quasi millimetrica e simmetrica, belli i toni e un esposizione perfetta e coraggiosa con solo 1/20 di tempo...ottimo lavoro come sempre...
