Tomorrow is Hungry Ghost Festival, anyway we celebrate it since the begin of the month of 7th according to Chinese Lunar Calendar.

Although the method of celebrate or worshipping in the Hungry Ghost Festival is a bit different in different region, but the purpose is same, this festival is for worshipping ghost, death encestors or the pass away family members.

According to the traditional believing of Chinese community, the gate of hell is open at the 7th month in Lunar Calendar, they believe that the ghost or the soul of death people will come back to the place where they live before, so that the alive people are try to make the ghost happy with offering them foods, paper-made items like costumes, houses, cars and etc, organisers also hold traditional opera or modern show to entertain the ghost too.
