Photographer’s Note
I would like to dedicate this mountain to Mr. Rabani who has shown courage and strength in scaling Mt Kinabalu. The fact that he had given me some words of advice and tips is what I cant denied. So hopefully he likes the outlook of this gunung ( mountain/ big hills)do that his fond memories in outdoor will be etched forever.
Gunung Reng is in the district of Jeli, Kelantan, West Malaysia. It is a famous picnic spot and still in a very good condition. It is a limestone hill with a few caves inside. It is surrounded by villages and secondary forest as well as rubber and oil-palm plantation. The river is very cooling and it nice to camp here too.

Hi Foozi,
Very nice view & POV. Good colors too. Although the hill is a bit centered it is well framed & balanced with the vegetations & river. Can you tell me how you framed the photo & not lose the exif information? As you know I recently started to frame my photos for TE. I shot in JPEG. Salam. Latiff.

Hello Foozi,
I can see why it is a famous picnic spot: this is a very impressive sight. I'd expect this to be on Borneo rather than in mainland Malaysia. Another reason to keep returning to what I consider the most enjoyable country in SE Asia. Thanks for showing me something new about your country.

Assalammualaikum Foozi,
Thank you Foozi. I wished there was more that I could say than just thank you. All I can say is, this is the 1st time I see something about Kelantan that has nothing to do with Budu and shopping :) At least, I would know where to camp and spend the day when I'm in Kelantan.
I liked this Gunung Reng of yours and I wouldn't be surprised the mountain would become a major rock climbing spot in Jeli. If those Batu Caves rock climbers see this rock, you would have more than just picnic spots with this mountain. And with the river nearby, a great place to cool off. And I imagined, this is a camping place too if it was in Sabah :) And I'm already wondering how it feels like, seeing the surrounding scenery from the top of this mountain.
This planet is a training ground of appreciation. At least to me. God said, His Heavens are millions time more wonderful and greater than the most wonderful on this planet. Imagine that. And God also said, a moment of seeing, studying and appreciating His works on Earth is worth more than a year just sitting inside a mosque doing nothing. In all honesty, photography is just a tool for me to capture His works. All I need to do is go and find it. For God, He is the most creative Artist/Painter of all.
It is easy to love God by His works.
Wassalam Foozi

hi Foozi
I think this is as good a camp site than any other place, with clean water and tree shades. The mountain looks very inviting, although it is almost vertical. You have done a good shot for vertical composition and composing to include all the elements of interest to make it work. Good color tone, no harsh shadow.

Assalamualaikum Foozi. rabani will be amazed by the dedication because he can scale up this one blind folded :-) The composition is stunning with the flowing water trapped by some rocks in the foreground. Nice high angle shot possibly from a bridge in warm color and clean exposure. Well done and thanks for sharing. Jusni

Hello Foozi
A lovely composition of spectacular scenery - looks much like the Glasshouse Mountains which are inland from the Sunshine Coast and just north of Brisbane in Queensland, Australia. A peaceful setting and very inviting, Marlene

Looking at that "peak", I admit that it is needed a lot of courage and strength, as you say, to scale it, the only view of it produces me dizzyness!
Good shot with a good perspective,Foozi.
Nice regards
