Photographer’s Note

This a modern market but the arrangement is very traditional. Very clean and lots of varieties from each seller, mostly woman.
I took from the highet level, looking down. Plan the intersecting lines to make it different by making it diagonally.
Kota Bharu is a Malay state that preserve their culture very much. the people are friendly and they really have variety of food, cake, rice,fruits and more.
They also sell local fruits and vegetables, which sometimes never seen in other markets in West Malaysia.
Love it, like it and taste it.

The quality is not the best, in terms of sharpness, but the composition is accurate and very nice. I like the diagonal view, and the POV from above.

Assalamualaikum Foozi. I have been to KB many times but I can't recall this beautiful scene. I've seen this geometry posted by Ewan once (if my memory searched me correctly). What is amazing here, the vendors camouflaged very well with the items they are selling. I can only spot one loose customer walking along the aisle. Well captured high angle shot and cleverly displayed in diagonal perspective. Well done and keep shooting. Regards. Jusni

A well thought composition with the central alley forming a diagonal line accross the colourful market. The quality could be better, but it's still very pleasant to look at.

I like this composition very much and the beautiful colours.
I have visited this wonderful market in Kota Bahru a long time ago. At that time the light was coming in the building through windows with yellow glass which gave the whole market a yellow colour.
Too bad I have only slides of it.

There is something very appealing about this photo even though it's not technically perfect. The composition is very effective overall with the POV from above. Also the muted colours are very pretty here. I like this photo a lot. Nice job!

A really good point of view looking almost straight down on this market. Could be sharper but the diagonal lines make this a patchwork composition. TFS, Marlene
