Hello friends in TE.

I have captured many images of this highest peak in my state but never actually gave full credit on this stunning mountain. So this is Mt. Jerai captured from the land with the ocean on the opposite side.

Gunung Jerai (Mount Jerai)rises above the surrounding plains at 1380metres/4140 feet above sea level and is visible for miles around. 11kms of winding road lead up to this mountain resort which can be reached by car. The vegetation begins to change gradually as you ascend the mountain - through the lower and upper dipterocarp forests that we commonly encounter in parks and reserves down in valleys and low lying areas that give way to the low montane forest where conifers thrive. At the top of the mount the trees are much shorter in height, twisted and gnarled from the base to the branches. It certainly is a delight to step off the cemented trails and onto the soft forest floor - nature's best carpeting, thickly covered with layers of acid humus soil and peat.

Hi Jusni

Good color saturation sharpness & composition. I'd be tempted to clone out the towers on the peak altogether. I like the color contrast between the yellow fg fields & blue sky. Bagus sekali, dans terima kasih!

- Sympathetique landscape the background in the foggy bluish atmosphere is superb, well done!
All the best.

hi Jusni

Looks can be deceiving and this peak does not look like 1380m, so we must not base on visual alone. For the peak of such altitude, clouds could have been seen hanging around it especially mornings. Good to see your post of your mountain here in full view and to learn there is a driving path and resort up there. I would prefer trekking trail than a drive.

Hello Jusni,
The profile of the mountain is an eye-catcher in this composition!
I love the sense of depth in this frame, as the haze makes the colours fade in a distance...
Nice framing and the lush trees make a fine colour contrast!
Greetings,
Pablo -

Hi Jusni,

it's trully a beautiful place. I see some tower at the top, maybe like 'Morro dos Perdidos' here not far from where I live. The image is well composed, with nice natural colors and lights. Is there any way to get there? I guess the view is wonderful. Great job!
Regards,
Carlos

Hello Jusni,

This is a very high mountain and splendid presentation from you.
I like the splendid diagonal line that show the slope to the top, very nice for look it.
I am again on trip without to do an effort, this is nice for this site.
Very well done.

Have a nice weekend,
John.

Hi Jusni,
Beautiful landscape you captured with nice colors, contrasts and POV. I've enjoyed this mountain blue in background because it adds more depth. Good job! Best regards, Consuelo

Hello,

merveilleux, ce mont, avec la belle plaine en fond, tout jaunes et les abres verts, de très beaux contraste.

Bravo et amitiés

Nicou

Jusni,
having such an intereseting landmark in the backyard should make you more active to take shots with the most variable compositions and light conditions. This shot is a nive overture for what you will do in future. get some interesting cloud formations, wait for the right light conditions, have some attractive foreground elements and you will have the most stunning shots. Oh, and get also a polarizing filter to make the clouds and light pop out.
Peter

Hello Jusni, This is a lovely natural looking landscape you have captured here. I read the other critiques & Peter's well informed comments with interest, I think that I also can learn from them. The mountain has an interesting outline & you have captured it very well. A good interesting note.
Thanks
Regards
Santo

Hello Jusni
Like the colour contrast between the FG & the bluish mountain in the BG. Well framed with the peak off-centre. Very good depth here as well as interesting cloud formations in the sky. Good work!
Best Regards
