Photographer’s Note
Hi friends in TE.
When I posted Payday in the past week, Pablominto commented that he preferred the traditional way of harvesting which is more romantic. There is hardly anywhere in my area that people harvest the rice in the traditional way.
During planting season, there are still very few farmers chose to do it manually the traditional way and arguably yields better harvest due to easier management of weeding and pest control. We can see here a plot being replanted manually which can be very costly to the farmer but somehow very romantic, it seemed :-)
Thanks for viewing!

Hello Jusni!
It's a lovely, beautiful and pleasant picture!
Soft lights and colors truly please me!
The composition is excellent, with the workers, the motorbike, the rice fields and the rocky cliffs are perfectly placed in the frame!
TFS - congratulations!
Best regards,
Neyvan

Hi Jusni,
Planting by hand is romantic.....is pablominto nuts :)))
Not a lot of romance happening here, this looks like incredibly hard work, not to forget the backache.
Exceptional daily life capture, the only concession to the modern world is the motor bike on the edge of frame.
Give me a mechanical harvester any day.
Regards
Peter

Hi Jusni
A superb daily life scene of the local farmers harvesting the rice crop. The bg karst formation adds interest. Good warm cold colour contrasts with superb sharpness & framing. Bagus sekali!

Hello Jusni,
A very attractive daily life image complemented by a fine composition. I like the muted natural looking colours and soft light. The men with the red top makes a nice splash of colour against the delicate greens of the rice field. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Jusni,
There is a milenar tradition of manual planting and harvesting that is being lost in favor of mechanized activity, more fast and profitable. I think Pablo is right, the picture is romantic because it is idealized, has a lot of emotion that the machine can not compete. Very good job!

Hi Jusni
Is that not around the Rice Museum??? Nice framing and fine execution of traditional paddy planting. Even the motorbike is there. The freshly planted paddy in the FG and BG and more ofter the hill, a perfect picture of rural Kedah. Fine light management to produce vibrant colors and high sharpness. Well done
Friendly regards

Hi Jusni,
A very good daily life scene. This traditional way of working is slowly disappearing although this seems to be small scale agriculture so it might last longer.
A well composed and interesting landscape with the rocks risning in the background.
Thanks for sharing,

Hello Jusni,
People look better than machines, no doubt hahaha!
In particular in picturesque surroundings like this, with the limestone rocks in the background...
Maybe the opportunity to take images like this will be history soon, so take good care of the files..!

Hi Jusni,
a very nice landscape view with the the rice farmers in harvest. It's a difficult work with the people on the waters to select the rice.I like the green surface of the ground as the red blouse that contrast perfect in the whole scene.Well done.

Hi Jusni!
This one is surely much better for photos, but I must agree with Peter, I can't see much romance here:)! But I guess I understand what Pablo means, yes. This composition is much more pleasant, with people in foreground, harvesting the rice and those big rocks in background.Even the moto is a good detail!
