Photographer’s Note

One more time another very recent picture of my favorite River in Alor Star. Due to the sunset the chest of the ferryman is very reddish. In the background is again the Chinese temple, some TE members wanted to see nearer.

Hello Urs,

Tighter shot gives closeness, still captured a good overall sharpness and depth. Sunset shots does give surprising saturation, gives warmth to the scene.

A quite and peaceful scene, far away from the traffic roar!
The mood is enhanced by the reflection from the calm water, and the moment is well recorded...

Good vertical format to frame the view along the river, the boat with a passenger and a rowing man add harmonious feel to the scene, good contrast between a muslim women to the temple, thanks for sharing.

The light is good here,as seen reflected from the boatman's body. Good diagonal of the river & a closer view of the Chinese temple this time. Good depth in this well composed shot!

Good color, sharpness (many of your images seem a little soft) & saturation. The diagonal axis of the canoe adds good dynamism. Nice reflections. Tfs!
