Photographer’s Note

One more time I visited my favorite river in Alor Star, This time the sun came out and suddenly disappeared to come back again. I really had to catch the right moment that I had the sun on all spots I wanted. The community opposite are mostly fisherman and laborers. For them only cheap housing is the attraction not the idyllic location. Moreover they also have to face the flooding when it occurs.

I really like the crossing diagonal lines of the buildings and clouds ... the greens are nice .. the senes of stillness of the reflections .. the symmetry of the reflection works really well with the buildings .. very nice. take care, John

This is a well composed presentation of the settlement along the river!
The colourful houses stand out well in the landscape, good fore ground interest creates depth...
Fine colour reproduction and good details!

Hi Urs,
Excellent photo which I like a lot but you know what bothers me a lot? The thin branch in the middle of the photo.There are two possibilities to remove it:
1.The clone tool in Photoshop or
2.A knife:)
No kidding now;I like the photo because it has a foreground,a background,good colors and contrast.
