Bridge Over Korok River Photo

Photographer’s Note

This is River Korok, a long stretch of irrigation canal that supplies water to northern part of Kedah padi region. When the rain comes, the level rises to the rail. Used to be wooden bridge, now they have to change it to iron as it stands better against the strong current.
I have sent twice at different seasons. This seems to be my favourite spot. I like this stretch of river as it is quite a scenery.

It is a nice shot and the lines on the bridge lead the eye to the hill in the background. The light is good as they also the colours, except for the sky which I think has a bit too light blue. Anyway, it is a well done picture.

The extreme perspective really draws the eye into the scene - so many lines! I think the sky is a bit too cyan. You can change that by adjusting the hue in the cyan channel of hue & saturation. Other than that I like the composition a lot.

Great shot, you've captured the look, feel and atmosphere of the countryside perfectly.
Good POV along the bridge, nice of the bridge engineers to position the bridge so that the mountain in the background is framed perfectly by the railings :))

Hello Foozi,

The bridge makes a strong lead, pointing across the fields and right to the mountain in the background!
Interesting lines, and I also notice the fine cloud formation...
Seems like great farmland with good water supply!

Hi Foozi,
I love this POV, it put us right in the middle of hte bridge, inviting us in, very nice strong lines of the shadows, that give it that 3 dementional feel. The shdow and the rail seems like railraod track taht is tilting up at a 45 degree angle, I'm expecting to see a rail car coming through on an angle :) Great clarity the lines also lead us to the only hill in the background. One of your great shots. Thanks
