Kedah Landscape Photo

Photographer’s Note

This would be the present landscape in Kedah. The padi was harvested and the rain comes intermittently. the farmers are preparing the field.
The water is filling up the streams and rivers. Soon the fields will be green again. In the mean time, hot wather could also be felt at times...the say it is el-Nino effect.

Hello Foozi,
Perfect crop to capture the width of the landscape. The blue at the bottom of the shot is the best colour in the scene.

Very nice, I love the clarity and very well exposed and contrast is very nice and strong, The colors are nice and vibrant, the water in the cannal and the rice pad reflect the color and light. I can see you shadow in the water too. Lovely shot, very nostalgic for me. and I love the open field.

Hello Foozi,

Yes I notice the abundance of water and fresh green vegetation!
And the blue sky of course, reflecting so nicely off the canal/ river...
The bridge makes a fine diagonal in the composition (it is a bridge, right?)..!

Dear Foozi

Somehow this fields are familiar to me, but I'm not so sure where they actually are, could be on the way between Kangar and Alor Star. Your shot perfectly captured the El Nino effect on the paddy fields. Colors are well varied, DOF is great and the sharpness is fine. Well done, even when the occasion of your picture certainly will not be to the liking of the farmers
