Where ever you walk in Yan, there always is one dominant sight in the east of the small township, Gurung Jerai, a massive limestone outcrop in the paddy fields that raises 1200 m above sea level. The Gurung Jerai also is the highest elevation of the Malaysian state of Kedah. This mountain offers a unique selection of plants, which make it an intriguing destination for botanists and nature lovers.

The strong red of the area is my favorite feature of this picture, followed by green lines and with a wonderful mountain in the background. Good job, congratulations!

Odlican trenutak i motiv, lep pogled na polja, toranj i planine koje prkose oblacima i ponosito stoje. Mnogo lepa fotografija, cestitam.

Excellent timing and motive, nice view of the fields, and mountains tower defying the clouds and proudly stand. Many beautiful photos, congratulations.

bello il contrasto tra il rosso della terra e il resto dell'immagine.
ottima inquadratura che spazia in maniera ampia su tutta la zona.
un caro saluto

This image from Kedah, like the last, are so brilliant with colors, it also brings to mind van Gogh's words, "... a symphony of colors." It is a well composed shot, with the tower in just the right place. its plumb line is slightly leaning in which you can straighten, but it would take two steps. Let me try a ws, if you don't mind a little meddling.

deux choses qui me plaisent follement dans cette photo, d'une part ce ciel merveilleux, et inquiétant, d'autre part ces oculeurs très fortes et contrastées.
Ce pylone trouble un peu mon regard.

Attractive and intriguing reddish land, it is good contrast to the green plants and blue sky too, good frame with including various geographical features within a shot, thanks for sharing an impressive view.

Olá Urs, the colors of this view attracted me immediately. That red on the field is amazing and the dramatic cloudy sky completes the show. Reminds me of a volcano starting something in the distance...Even that tower is a nice addition making a hole in the cloud ;-)
