[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a paddy field located in the state of Kedah in the country of Malaysia. Rice is one of the main agricultural industry here. Within a year, the paddy fields go through at least two seasons of planting.

This field contains the just sprung up paddy shoots. When the rice grains are fully developed the whole paddy field will turn yellow instead.

The diagonal 'path' you see in the center is actually the walkway for the farmers. In Malay language it is called a 'batas' (pronounced bah-task)

I took this picture on a hot sunny day at 2:00pm. I like it and I hope you like it too.

nice picture.. we call rice as "Palay" and the diagonal 'path' as "patol" or "pilapil" in our native Tagalog language.

If I may YahWen,I've studied three photos of yours and I observed in all three, your angle and exposure is good. Except for one detail. Leading object.

You have a great expanse of padi field to show for but it doesn't something to guide the viewer in. A solitary cow, farmer or anything biological makes your composition better and more attractive.

Give me green any day. I believe it is an 'island of trees on the right? If captured fully, I think it would be a clear focal point. I love the 'ban' running slightly diagonally across the shot as well.
