Photographer's Note

We've had a week of frosty weather now, I guess for the first time this winter. And as always I enjoy looking at beach photos when it's cold outside:)

Here's another picture from Langkawi's exclusive and tranquil beach resort of Datai bay. Its scenery takes your breath away with views across the water to Thailand.This isolated spot is in the midst of a tropical rainforest millions of years old.
This isn’t a beach for those who want to be entertained 24-7, but instead it’s a perfect place to kick back and relax: doing nothing more than enjoying a beautiful beach, dipping a toe in the warm clear water, or soaking up the sun with a good book.
And with powdery white sand on the edge of the warm and inviting Andaman sea, why would you want to do anything else?
Still if you care to move your finger there's the most beautiful golf course with the most stunning views nearby.:)

This view looks very inviting, indeed! it is very picturesque and has a special "soft touch" - because of the shadow on the water; you chose a perfect POV where this shadow is a very nice balance for the distant dark shoreline in the composition :)

Hello Marina,

Urs Müller frequently posts photos from Kedah, one of the two areas he lives (the other is Thailand). His photos are usually of the daily slice of life, market place, food, etc. But he appears to take for granted the astonishing beauty of the beaches. This is one of the most inviting places I've seen, a veritable suburb of Paradise. Thanks for sharing the photo, replete with a personal note. I too made a recent visit to a suburb of Paradise, or perhaps Paradise itself.

Paysage dans des tons bleutés très plaisants et dégageant beaucoup de douceur et un POV très bien choisi intégrant une partie de la balustrade à l'avant plan, quelques branches d'arbres...C est joliment fait !
