Hello again, Jusni,
what a lovely shot this is. I like the grasses in the FG and the line of palms that draws the eye into your shot. Wonderful evening light and good rich color. It has a very peaceful feel to it. Well done! Many thanks and kind regards,

How did you get the sky so dark without a filter? I love your composition, the contrast of colours is awesome. Well done.
azaf1 (15929) 2008-07-20 0:23
This is really beautiful. Those evening colors and that blue in the sky is really nice. Lovely POV too with a very good vertical frame
robertosalguero (246) 2008-07-20 0:57
Very soothing image composed with excellent colours and sharpness. The warm light of the evening created some interesting shadows in this image. The angle is also excellent to capture the sunset behind the palm trees. Nice view indeed and well composed image.

You are so lucky , Is this your way between your house and work ??? Oh noo...
The grasses at the FG and splendid palm trees at the sunset make the composition superb.

A beautiful landsacep of the setting Sun with colours creating the magic.
Difficult shot to handle because the grains spoil the mood.....but you have handled it well.
Well Done Jusni,

Très joli coucher de soleil avec une chouette atmosphère dans le ciel,
J’aime beaucoup également la clarté de l’espace vert au premier plan,
Belle image !
Bien à toi,
trekks (14348) 2008-07-20 9:06
The sunset color of sky helps to contrast with the rice field green but the palms are showing up nicely to the sky as added feature to this country composition. A good indication of the village style.

Beautiful sunset!I like the colours and the silhouettes of the palm trees.Well captured!
alftrek (3270) 2008-07-20 16:26
A nice gradation of light from the bright sunset to a dark sky at the top. Th cascading heights of the coconut trees, and the well exposed FG grass has an excellent effect on this composition.
John_F_Kennedy (43505) 2008-07-20 23:24
This is a very nice quiet and peaceful place and you've capture this mood very well on.
aadilj (18102) 2008-07-20 23:34
Lovely textures and colours of this painting in the sky. the composition and the use of darkness and lights is great
jhm (145306) 2008-07-21 0:25
You chose F/14 and 1/50 this is perfect, I find no note your ISO, I think that here ISO 400 perhaps more suitable would are, for more clarity.
Your composition and colours are very attractive and give extraordinarily pink light to the sky, my compliments. TFS.
pablominto (53746) 2008-07-21 0:30
You capture the fine atmosphere as the wraps up very well!
A pleasant composition with fine warm colours, the palm trees make sharp silhouettes and straws in front creates depth...
I notice the nice light making the green field stand out!

Beautiful sunset. No wonder the plams attracted your attention as they make wonderful silhouettes against the wonderful colours in the sky in a diagonal line. You did well to keep the green in the foreground.
gunbud (34066) 2008-07-21 18:20
What a beautiful sight to behold after a hard days work.
The varying tones of golden colors look brilliant against the tropical foreground as they contrast beautifully with the lush green surroundings.

You are a lucky guy for having such view on your way home. You did a wonderful job with the light, colours, palm trees and the grass on the FG to produce a really pleasant sunset image. It's a bit pity that the sharpness isn't better.
foozi (7101) 2008-08-29 6:32
the beauty of the village sunset is realy a wonder. the palms and the grasses look great. the contrasting colours work well and give an impressive picture of a Malay kampong. the dramatic sky and its golden clouds are stunning.
Brilliannt piece of shot.

I understand that at your place, you only have to rotate your camera on a tripod and use your pictorial sense to capture an infinity of pastoral landscapes for our pleasure of the eyes!
livinitout (942) 2008-09-07 23:54
That's a nice one. I can feel the quiet in this picture as the sun sets. Id crop a bit off the top.
jorgi (3810) 2008-09-12 0:56
you have a beautiful road leading from work to your home. I must admit I was immediately overtaken by the thumbnail. Wonderful scenery is glowing in wonderful evening light, so simple yet so marvelous. Light balance is excellent and I can imagine the smell of greenery in front of me. This capture is all about the light. It brings out the best of colours, it creates the warmth that makes it so beautiful.
dcawker (5717) 2008-09-17 6:32
Wow, very beautiful.. It has a 'painterly' quality to it as well! Regards, Doug
